On an experience with switching professions from practicing architects to professional curators with Monika Annen (BALTSproject, Zürich) and Carlos Mínguez Carrasco (Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York).
Monika Annen will introduce her gallery within the context of Zürich´s architectural and art scene. She will also speak about her experience with various types of collaboration from her position as a curator, an exhibition design architect, and art producer.
The closing event will be a lecture by professional curator and architect Carlos Mínguez Carrasco, who will further develop the topic of being a curator with an architectural education and practical architectural experience. He will introduce the collaborative efforts of Storefront for Art and Architecture, where he works as an Associate Curator, and will also speak about his recent experience as a Chief Curator of After Belonging: A Triennale In Residence, On Residence, and the Ways We Stay In Transit (Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016 with the After Belonging Agency).
